With the development of new imaging sensors, computer technology and information processing technology, image fusion technology is a hot topic in the research fields such as image understanding, computer vision and so on, and is utilized successfully in a broad variety of fields including military, remote sensing, automatic target recognition, machine vision, medical image processing, and etc.In this paper, high-resolution panchromatic image and low resolution multi-spectral images to study the integration of the object, and based on the Wavelet transform, Contourlet transform, NSCT transform such as multi-resolution analysis theory, centered on remote sensing image fusion the outstanding issues of: First, multi-resolution remote sensing image analysis method selection, characterization as far as possible be integrated image details; Second, the selection of fusion operator, to adopt a more reasonable choice most likely the original multi-spectral image spectral information, and improve the spatial detail information of fused image; Third quality evaluation model of optimal and robust fusion algorithm. The study reflects the current difficulties in remote sensing image fusion research and focus.Combining the advantages of wavelet transform and HIS transform, establish the optimal fusion algorithm of remote sensing image fusion image while enhancing the spectral information and spatial details of the information. The low frequency sub-band coefficients of PAN-based images using a MS image with the physical characteristics of the "weighted average" of the coefficient of options, high-frequency sub-band coefficients selected by the regional characteristics of the fusion rules. Experiments will be integration of this paper and the absolute value operator to take a large, direct substitution of fusion operators are the fusion of the statistical analysis, results show that the fusion algorithm proposed in this paper can be better balanced integration of image quality and spatial spectral information quality of information.A transformation and the HIS transform based NSCT combining multi-source remote sensing image fusion, using a variety of platforms NSCT transformation to study the remote sensing image fusion algorithm and its computational complexity analysis. Experimental results show that the HIS transform combined with NSCT effectively reduce the amount of time spent computing remote sensing image fusion, and Compared with the Contourlet algorithm, it is also effective in reducing spectral distortion of the image fusion to improve the integration of visual images.
