A Scheduling Model Based On Trust Mechanism Across Domains

There are vast kinds of resources over Internet which have become a part of resources of human societies. In the meanwhile, with the application of computer network, security problem becomes more serious. One of the obvious challenges is trust crisis and its influence on interaction security. To meet these challenges, a new platform as Network Computing Virtual Environment (NCVE) is proposed. Trust management is an elementary component for NCVE based on the notion of human trust which aims to provide the assurance of safety, dependence and credibility for the on-demand aggregation and autonomic collaboration behavior of resources to create a secure and harmonious computing environment.To establish trust relationship across domains is difficulty due to the difference of inner-model of trust domain, consequently, the entity trust value is difficult to compare in across domains scheduling. In this paper, Our main contribution can be summarized as follows:1. Definition of trust and its basic characteristicswe focus on across domains scheduling in virtual network, clarify the relationship between trust and reputation, trust and security, analyze the current progress in credential-based and reputation-based trust systems, and then from the speciality of trust establishment in virtual environment, study several key techniques in network mutual trust systems, which include: mutual-trust infrastructure, trustworthiness evaluation based on credential, reputation evidence analysis and aggregation.2. Across domains trust infrastructure and model studyThis thesis proposes a new across domains trust model which consists of among domains trust and inner-domain trust , and implements with domain's agent infrastructure. we proposed inter-domain architecture.3. Across domains trust value evaluate algorithm studyThe trust value evaluating is based on the history record and recommendation. Then, the trust value across domains is uniform and comparatively. As to the model requirement,and the inner-domain scheduling algorithm had been described.4. Performance of across domains scheduling algorithm analysisFinally,we performed simulations to compare the performance of across domains scheduling algorithm with that of the third-evaluating scheduling model. The experiments show that the across domains scheduling algorithm is select entity of high trust value and efficient on task fulfill ratio and task complete ratio within multi-domain environments.
