The design of turbine blade cooling is an important part of development of high performance engine. There are now a lot of cooling types available because of contributions of researchers, i.e. a large number of complex data or mathematical models need to be managed. Due to the lack of effective management system, and relying on traditional methods of modeling design, data reusability and consistency are poor. System modeling not only is inefficient but also seriously affects the function.of product design.In this paper, based on engineering application, by analyzing the structure of typical turbine blade cooling characteristics of the model data, combined with the application of model data in engine design, a set of system solution for the model data management and application is proposed. By using the modern software engineering design methods, combined with system development, there are some analysis on the models for software development, data storage mode, document management technology, ActiveX control technology, and dynamic-link library. By useing C/S architecture, a combination data stored model of relational database and file system, the file system is implemented and DB data model is designed. The application software integrates the functions such as model management, data query, document browsing, and numerical simulation calculation.In order to prove the system functionalities, a test platform of turbo-engine performance calculation with turbine blade cooling is also successfully developed by using object-oriented programming method. Testing data show influence of engine performance with different cooling methods.This system has integrated the existing cooling model data effectively. It provides professional development team with a centralized, scalable data source. It can be used in design successfully, and it can improve work efficiency. In this paper, the object is typical in the relevant fields, so the system may be generally used to some extent.
