In this paper, the multi-component signal processing against the background of linear frequency modulated continuous wave (LFMCW) and radial acceleration estimation in the system of single observer passive location and tracking are discussed, A fast algorithm of parameter estimation also was addressed for wide pulse signal. The multi-component signals processing against the background of LFMCW was studied. The pulse signals can be detected and idetified from the continue-wave background by analyzing every time slice of the short-time Fourier transform exerted on the received signal and characteristics of each pulse signal's spectrum. Subsequently, the modulation period of LFMCW can be obtained by detecting frequence jump point of Time-Frequency curve of received signal. The initial frequency and coefficient of frequency modulation can be estimated DPT algorithm using one modulation period singal which has no pulse signal. Finally, the parameters of the pulse signals can be estimated using relative algorithms by filtering the LFMCW signal in the time segment of appeared pulse signals.A fast algorithm of parameter estimation was addressed for wide pulse signal. The coherent pulse train was structured by extracting wide norm pulse signal, and the frequency was estimated using the algorithm of frequency estimation for coherent pulse train. Subsequently, the parameter of wide LFM pulse signal was estimated using this method on the basis of DPT algorithm. An algorithm of radial acceleration estimation was proposed based on accurate time of arrival (TOA) estimations. Firstly, TOA estimation based on correlation detection was introduced. On that basis, TOA estimatedaccuracy can be improved by using the method of harr wavelet transform. The influence of quantization error on TOA estimatedaccuracy can be decreased by modifying TOA estimation for linear frequency modulated pulse train. Subsequently, the estimation of pulse repetition period can be obtained using TOA estimations. Finally, the basic principle of radial acceleration estimation based on accurate TOA estimations was analyzed and the accurate estimation of radial acceleration was realized using estimation of TOA and pulse repetition period.
