The Structural Features Extraction Of Moving Target In Video

The precondition of the moving object recognition is accurate object segmentation and the characteristics extraction of the target structure.In terms of moving object in the video,besides the point, line, area, texture and other substrate characteristics of the target,the features in the time domain,for example,speed and acceleration,is the most significant feature.In order to distinguish the moving target, for example,distinguish the cars,animals, people etc, only using substrate features is not enough,the characteristics that can reflect of target structure must be extracted, for example,the trunk and limbs of animals,the body and wheel of the vehicles etc.In this case,we can improve the effect of identification and tracking of moving target.This article on the basis of analysing the research on the moving target identification, tracking and characteristics extraction problems at home and abroad,first,we made an introductory about the concept, composition and mathematical description of moving target structural characteristics,presented a method of the structure feature extraction of moving object in the complex environment.In this paper, the main work consists of three parts: 1) we used Gaussian mixture method to separate the moving object area from background,and then the area pretreatment be done with farthest point clustering method. 2) using image segmentation method to sort the area of the moving object,then we proposed a criterion that is fit for the regional consistency of the feature target structure extraction,obtained the most reasonable sub-region of the moving targets,extracted structural characteristics that comprise the sub-region,the geometric features and statistical characteristics. 3) using with UPF method to track the sub-region of the moving target,extracted motion characteristics of moving objects. Finally,by the extraction of the structure of moving target feature,we apply the structural characteristics of the target on target tracking and identification of areas.Research on structural characteristics extraction of moving target,is significant targets recognition and tracking in the video.
