Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) plays an important role in strategic reconnaissance and surveillance. SAR resorts by high resolution of image technology, and combines with GMTI (Ground Moving Target Indication) technology, which can form a detailed overall situation map of the battlefield. So it makes a severe threat for important military moving targets or stationary target. Especially over the last two decades, with the SAR-GMTI system performance improving, SAR-GMTI gives prominence role to military affairs increasingly. Moreover, the jamming technology improved gradually for countering SAR-GMTI has became a subject in SAR field. Based on this military requirement and background, the thesis studies the active deception jamming against SAR-GMTI deeply.Part 1 illustrates the background and significance of this research subject,and sets forth the present status of domestic and overseas SAR/SAR-GMTI ECM techniques ,including interrelated SAR system and SAR-GMTI system. Development trend and existing problems of SAR jamming techniques are further concluded. The major research efforts of this dissertation are also summarized.Part 2 introduces SAR echo characteristic and imaging features of typical kinds of moving targets. The investigated subjects are three typical kinds of moving targets with uniform motion, uniformly accelerated motion and uniform rotation. Using the stationary phase principle, the imaging characteristics in the azimuth direction are analyzed in detail and the echo characteristic and imaging features of three typical kinds of moving targets are presented. The research in this chapter forms the theoretical basis of the study on active jamming method base on micro motion modulation and scatter-wave jamming method.Part 3 studies two kinds of active jamming method base on micro motion modulation, including the composite active jamming method based on micro motion modulation and intermissive sampling and repeating jamming method base on micro motion modulation. Adopted classical Range-Doppler(R-D) imaging algorithm, the jamming effects of the two kinds of active jamming method is analyzed in detail and several modulating coefficients are determined. As well as the simulation experiments are done based on the raw data. Moreover, the countering effects against GMTI and the remaining jamming energy after multichannel cancelling of two kinds of active jamming method are deduced in detail. The interrelated simulation experiments'results are presented.Part 4 studies scatter-wave jamming method and extended scatter-wave jamming method against SAR-GMTI system. Making use of the scatter-wave jamming factor, jamming inflection of the scatter-wave jamming method in the range and azimuth directions is analyzed. A new kind of extended scatter-wave jamming method is studied base on this jamming method. And as well as the jamming effects of the kind of extended scatter-wave jamming method is investigated in detail. The jamming condition of the scatter-wave jamming method and extended scatter-wave jamming method are futher put forwarded to different jamming effects of SAR. Finally, the countering effects against multichannel cancelling for SAR of the scatter-wave jamming method and extended scatter-wave jamming method are discussed.Part 5 summarizes the research work and main innovations, and discusses the future work to be researched.
