Design Of Security System In Home Based On Zigbee

Home security monitoring system is now welcomed by more and more families, because it brings the people a good living environment which can provides security, comfort, and convenience for them. In modern times, as a part of home security system, the home network using short-range wireless communication technology has become unstoppable trend. Because the short-distance wireless communication technology not only can make up for some shortcomings of traditional networks, such as lacking of sufficient flexibility and mobility, but also can avoid spending too much effort and cost of cabling and so on. Through a comprehensive analysis and research on the domestic and abroad home security system , this paper analyzed a new short-range wireless communication technology which is based on ZigBee, we achieved a intelligent home security system which can make users monitor home remotely.Firstly, this paper analyzed he the general structure of home wireless network and the status of controlling system in home security within the development background of home and abroad. With analyzing the features of traditional home security systems, this thesis indicate that traditional home security system have some deficiencies in the current market, and point out that home security system basing on short-range wireless network is the development trend of future.Secondly, through analyzing and comparing of the several related wireless technology standards, we sure that the ZigBee specification is the best choice as the standard used for a low-rate wireless home control system.Finally, this paper propose a overall solution of home security system from the perspective of systems and applications, which includes a main controlling system and wireless networks within home, and described concrete details of the implementation from the respect of software and hardware.
