Micro parts are applied in a wide range in the social production and all aspects of life. As the limitations of conventional detection methods, image measurement method in the measurement of micro components is becoming a competing technology at home and abroad, the advantages of which include non-contact measurement, high speed and can be measured for a long time in stability. It can meet the requirements of measurement on batch of small parts and online detection. It's a great significance for the achievement of comprehensive testing and improvement of product quality.Escapement wheel semi-automatic visual inspection system is an detection equipment for " Tianjin Seagull Co Ltd used for watches " ,which is used on the inspection of watch escapement wheel parts. It is primarily used for visual inspection on the escapement wheel geometry of mechanical watch, determining the eligibility of the tested parts. In order to achieve high detection accuracy and high detection efficiency requirements proposed by Tianjin Seagull Co Ltd in this thesis, relevant aspects are studied in-depth to achieve good results, the thesis includes the following aspects:1.Do the research on the regulation on the hardware of the system, including the definition of the adjustment, adjustment of the vertical degree and correction of lens distortion. Definition of adjustment is a judgment for image quality, the clarity of image interpolation based on evaluation algorithm solved the problem of high-precision measurement. Adjustment of vertical degree is to adjust the degree between the axis and the shoot system, Based on image region vertical axis degree of clarity, accessed a high-quality images; system analysis of the lens distortion correction is to compensate for the measurement error caused by lens distortion .It presents a suitable ring correction method for the lens distortion for the measurement, ensuring accuracy.2.Implements communications between the hardware and software, control PLC operation status, meeting the overall measurement system and single-step measurement needs.3.Developed an algorithm for escapement wheel, escape wheel of different specifications developed different algorithms, Achieve measuring kinds of specification wheels with multiple parameters, measurement precision is up to 3 ? .4.Designed user interface for the equipment, making it easy to handle and beautiful.
