Electrical Tomography(ET) is a new measurement technique developed in recent thirty years.Due to the advantages of being non-radiant and non-intrusive,rapid response,simple structure and low cost,ET has wide foreground for application in the field of clinical monitoring and industrial measurement.Although great progress has been made in ET technique in the recent decades,sat-isfactory images in terms of good quality and distinguishability have not been achieved because the inverse problem is ill-conditioned.In order to solve this problem,many studies have been conducted mainly on image reconstruction algorithms for Electrical Impedance Tomography(EIT) system in this paper.The main work and results are given as follows.Firstly, an image reconstruction algorithma with landweber iterativion was pro-posed,and then based on another iterative method,an improved algorithm was devel-oped,the experimental results showed that the modified algorithm had well stability and high real time.Secondly, an image reconstruction algorithma based on Generalized inverse matrix was proposed.Finally, an image reconstruction algorithma based on the total variation was pro-posed,and then an iterative modified algorithma using Bregman distance was applied to reconstruct the EIT image.This iterative modified algorithm enhanced the distinguisha-bility of the reconstruction image in areas with discontinuous medium distribution.
