Nowadays,model-driven development method has been increasingly a major concern for software developers , especially Domain specific modeling(DSM). The model-centered of software development method of DSM has become a hotspot for research content.Model integrated computing (MIC) based mainly on model is a new method of software development. It provides modeling frame which is more flexible multi-level and multi-view, besides traditional modeling development methods, it has own features in embedded software development method, the model locates in the center of whole lifecycle, not only exists in development process, but also involves the verification, analysis, integration, maintenance of development process. It's very important between transformations of models; it does not adopt multi-steps transformation in model-driven architecture, representing difference level of development with difference models. So we can use these models in analysis and verification's tools. MIC can be unified analysis and verification for target field of many important features (real-time performance and reliability)via model level, reducing the risk of system development to a great degree.This paper, firstly, describes the application of the new software development theory- Model integrated computing and lays theory foundation for the method of model transformation and model-driven software development. We discussed modeling framework for model integrated computing methods and studied the model rules based on ontology.Then, we proposed a method of model interpretation development using model integrated computing methods. Its advantage is that developers have stronger ability of abstract analysis, analyzing and designing more complicated systems; furthermore, it can construct extended interface and conveniently design model interpretation program. Model converter can transform these models into basic code, configuration files and document authentication information. Based on model integrated computing theory, we proposed domain meta-model in the configuration models of embedded operating system, divided parts and their attributes, abstracted configuration models of embedded operating system and prepared for the construction of domain model.Finally, we created domain model for configuration models of embedded operating system, designed and transformed domain model according to the meta-model, generating related configuration files, implementing the transformation of models, verifying feasibility using model-driven software development, showing conveniences and advantages of model integrated computing method.This paper attempts to research configuration models of embedded operating system by proposing new development architecture, modeling language and development environment for MIC.
