Digital publish is the future development of Global Publish Media Industry, and will be the strongest growth point. Recently, e-books, as newborn industry, are the hot discussion no matter on industry or on study. As the development of culture industry, whole market was transferred from Seller market to Buyer market, customers, as the information read and consumption, the buyer's station, become more and more important.This study based on the questionnaire issued on network platform, had a preliminary research on the reading and purchase action. The goals are to know the current customer reading and purchase status, to give the proposals on sell market and promotion on the future development of e-books.Conclusion obtained after the study, e-books occupy parts of market and have the ascending development trend. People who hold high academic degree, have high income, over 30 years old and the male have the more possibility to read and e-book. leisure is the main purpose to most of e-book consumer. Now the consumer's reading habits have been formed but buying habits is still need training, most people use mobile phone and network to read e-book, most people read leisure content a lot but buy original classes and book of learning, e-shop is the major purchase channel to most of people. It has been discovered that the social networking sites can broadcast e-book news, and most consumer don't want to pay for e-books. According to the result, I give some suggestions on the time to sell e-book, sales channels, bid, payment, format, marketing channels etc.
