Research On Relationship Between SPI And Trustworthiness Of Software System

Along with the development of science and technology as while as the improvement of management, the software and the service both have fast developments. But these changes have brought new functions, the conveniences and the complexities. In order to resolve these contradictions, many International organizations have promoted their solutions, such as ISO, CMM, GJB5000 and so on. At the same time, along with increasement of function requirement, software system will become huge and difficulty to controls. So there always many flaws and crackes, and systems are getting weaker and weaker. Softwares always let the human untrust, which is called software system trustworthiness problem. These porblem is urgently to be solved.SPI (Software Process Improvement) has the close relationship with software system trustworthiness, this paper discusses both of them in the way of the steps of research and relationship of each par. Firstly, it introduces the background and significance of the topic briefly as well as the present situation of research inside and outside our country. It introduces the content of this topic and my duty. It also introduces the constitution of this paper. It analyzes and compares standard-systems and the frames of SPI. It researches the key element of success of SPI, and it also introduces the related technique, the statistics and the analysis about the questionnaire survey result as well as its instruction and suggestion. It analyzes the key element of trustworthiness of software system, using the similar method as the key element of success of SPI. Finally, it studies and deliberates the related relationship between SPI and trustworthiness of software system, and analyzes the data of questionnaire, and verifies reliability and validity. Based on these, it raises some suggestions and opinions about how to make software trustworthy by SPI.Accoding to the research, it is indicated that there is tight relationship between SPI and trustworthiness of software system. It is hoped that more and more software companies will make some plan and take action to improve the level of SPI as while as software system Trustworthiness.
