The sharing, dissemination and use of electronic documents have become an important and basic data processing method for the information society. However, there are serious security risks because of the lack of safety management of electronic document processing, and security management and leak prevention of electronic document have become the key security support for information processing. Currently, there are many sectors using encryption software to protect the security of electronic documents home and abroad. There are two ways for software encryption. One is automatic and tansparent encryption, and the other is manual encryption. Although they meet the needs of users in varying degrees, both of them have flaws. Base on the analysis of problems that involves in the electronic document security management, the task of this paper is the design and implementation of electronic document security management and leak prevention system based on DRM. The system ensures the confidentiality and integrity of electronic documents effectively, without changing habits of the circumstances for users.A DRM-based electronic document security management system model is proposed in this paper. This model protects digital contents and provides secure distribution of electronic documents as the core task. The functional architecture, logical architecture and network architecture is proposed.In the process of software development, DRM technology is adopted to control permissions for the use of protected documents; kernel-level file system filter driver technology is used to achieve the design and implementation of transparent encryption and decryption files, in order to ensure the safety of the system encrypted document and match the user's habits, in which way makes the electronic document protection system integrated with the existing system users in the greatest degree; the icon handler in the Shell extension program is adopted to deal with a protected document icon to distinguish the encryption files between decryption files; the efficient and reliable electronic document encryption algorithms is used to effectively protect the confidentiality and integrity of the document content; a comprehensive security audit function is adopted to make advance prevention and post tracking; Combining the select model and the completion port model, the high concurrent communication for electronic document security management system is designed in this paper. Finally, functional testing, performance testing and compatibility testing of the system are done.At last, test results show that the electronic document security management system designed in this paper conforms fully to the security management and leak prevention requirements. At the same time, the function and performance of the system achieves the design goals.
