The paper is mainly about the following key technologies in IMT-A multi-antenna OFDM system, that is, space ZCW (zero correlation window) continuous pilot, detection algorithm and the applications of TPC channel coding in the system. The research of the space ZCW continuous pilot is based on the below facts:OFDM technology will be applied widely in B3G/4G next-generation wireless communication systems, multi-antenna and co-frequency networking bring the issue of pilot cost into consideration. Prof. Daoben Li proposed a non-interference pilot used in the multi-antenna block transmission FDMA system under co-frequency networking. It proves that the pilot can solve the contradiction between the pilot cost and the performance of channel estimation effectively with its superiority. As to the research of multi-antenna system detection algorithm, the paper mainly do some improvements on the traditional SDA (Sphere Decoding Algorithm) to make it can be applied to the overload MIMO systems. It shows that the improved SDA has the same performance with the ML (Maximum Likelihood) algorithm, which has much lower complexity. Finally, the application of TPC (Turbo Product Code) in multi-antenna OFDM system is studied. The simulation uses only a limited TPC pattern, which need rate matching to obtain the required code rate. While rate matching only reduce the spectrum efficiency but not improve the performance, so the code pattern needs to be optimized further. Here, the paper only gives the initial simulation results of different code pattern under AWGN channel.
