Research Of Wireless Sensor Network Fault Detection Technology

Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) are consisting of many small, low-cost and wireless communication capabilities of sensor nodes, which are densely distributed over the region of interest for collecting information. Because the advantage of WSN is high accuracy, high fault tolerance, wide coverage, it has a good prospect in many fields.Because of the fabrication technology restricted in WSN, the fault question sensor is easy to appear in single sensor node even reduce the reliability of whole network; because of dense and random distribution,it is very difficult to complete fault detection by human in WSN.Based above both factors, research of WSN fault detection technology is significant in application and promotion in WSN.This article is based on WSN application characteristic and the main technical challenges. Firstly, we summarize the status of WNS and WSN's fault management, analyze and compare current structures and methods, choose the outstanding neighbor collaboration fault detection method——Self-monitoring of Wireless Sensor Network> to analyses and optimize, in order to get a balance between the low energy consumption and the high accuracy of new method. At last some simulations are made, and feasibility of new algorithm improved.
