With the continuous development of the cement production industry, the constant expansion of the production scale, the constant increasement of process visualization requirements,real-time and safety control requirements and the shorten development cycle time, the traditional DCS and its development environment have the limitations of their own to meet these needs. The raw mill control system this paper studied based on SIMATIC PCS7 developed by Siemens to provide for the industrial totally integrated automation (TIA) system and CEMAT library specifically for the cement production process.The raw mill process control on PCS7system was studied in this paper, including its control system network structure analysis, ratio feeding system control strategy analysis and hardware and network configuration, process control and ratio feeding controller programmed via CFC procedures and monitoring system of the whole plant.Main work and conclusions in this paper are as follows:The monitoring system network was researched in this paper, which can be divided into the device layer, process control layer and operating management layer. Device layer is responsible for the acquisition and device signal and commitment the driven command. The controlling layer is responsible for data analysis and to send the appropriate command-driven to control field devices. The operating management layer through the Industrial Ethernet. Operations management layer, is responsible for monitoring the whole production line and production control.The application of fuzzy control was proposed in the proportional feeding process,which considered the differential pressure between the Raw mill inlet and outlet as the input to figure out the setpoint of the total production according to the fuzzy algorithm to control the thickness of the raw material in raw mill. It dismiss many shortage caused by manual control. It also design the software filter to dismiss the offline of the pressure measuring device because of the size noise and make a analysis of the principle and process logic of control weigh feeder.The software was researched to realized the raw mill process control system,including hardware and network configuration and setting parameters, communication initialization procedures for the preparation in the SIMATIC PCS7, CFC chapter discusses the concepts and programming features and functions in the library under the CEMAT process control function blocks to complete and custom packages block the fuzzy controller function and interference filter function.The management fuction of the monitoring sysytem was researched.The application of the WinCC data management realize the data unified management and build the history and real-time database to monitor the production process and construct the archiving system, repot system, and message system.
