The Design And Implemention Of A Small Digital Music Library

Digital Music Library (DML) is an open digital music information system supported by modern high-tech, such as search engine, network, and database. DML rational and efficient organized a large number of various type digital music resources by integration technologies, and provide users with all kinds of music information service through the network. Digital music library system generally consists of five parts, music collection, data storage and management, music information retrieval and inquiry, music publishing and communication and information security. These mainly related to the distributed storage technology, information retrieval and network security technology.This paper designs a small digital music library system, and implemented the mini system. It can provide a small range of users with some functions such as music downloads and background information retrieval. Comparing with the current number of DML systems, the system allows user to participate in the process of system information management, and provide user with a retrieve music method by description words. Firstly, the paper analyzed system's needs, introduced the system workflow and software architecture and all function modules. Then the paper designs the structure of index, the music retrieval module's process and the simple sorting method for results. The paper also describes the system data source-mp3 data's storage in physical and the file transfer download mode, which separate the download server and storage servers, well-protected storage server. This paper also briefly describes some algorithms such as log analysis, index and inverted index's establish etc.
