In order to conform to the enterprise development trend, whose center is modernization and informationization, many domestic tobacco companies have adopted modern logistics management method. The traditional manual operation was replaced by the automation of distribution system of cigarettes. Automatic cigarette selection is an important sub-link of distribution system of cigarettes. The topic is from the R&D project of cigarettes box opening machine, which requires that it can obtain the thickness of the box cover through the sigle-eys vision detection, and take it as the parameter of the precise motor control.. The main research will be described as follows:Construction of the ARM as the core platform for the servo system control. Desigh the software and hardware respectively, including chosing of the hardware, designing the peripheral circuits, PWM ransmiting and feedback capturing mudule.Research on the principles of camera calibration, and using OpenCV for calibration experiments to get the inside and outside paramenters. For the requremnt of the actual project, proposed a method conbianed Canny edge detection and HIS color space to extract the features of the image. And using probability-based Hough transform to fit the line, the according to the experience of the experiment select the proper line to measure the distance.In order to achieve the requirements of the project efficiency, the paper also research on motor control algorithms. First compare the traditional modeling method and the method of system identification modeling to determine the accurate system model. Next designsing the adaptive PID controller and fuzzy PID controller. Then analyse and compare the experiment and simulation results.In this paper, software designment and test based on VC6.0 platform and OpenCV library. And conbian the host computer and the lower computer through serial port. Finally experiment the platform to verify the system. Results show that tthe system matches the accuracy of the request, the control scheme can achieve the desired goals.
