The Research And Implementation Of Workflow Engine For Task Assignment Extensibility

With the competition of market becoming more and more fiercely, the need of Enterprises for improving information support systems become increasingly and changing. How to do the researching on meeting the increasingly and changing of the information support systems became an important research problem. The proposition of workflow management system makes up the enterprise information system in the lack of flexibility and variability. This research work is extremely significant for researching and implementing to the workflow engine which supports task assignment extensible.Firstly, with studying and comprehensive analyzing on research status, this paper proposes current workflow systems lack of supporting for task assignment prevalently. And then, this dissertation introduced the general interface of task assignment for workflow, which supports architecture of workflow engine's proposition and new task assignment model researching.Secondly, with studying and researching on typical task assignment modes and algorithms, this paper presents a new task assignment model by taking into account multi-factors which affected task assignment. The multi-factors include load balancing, the capacity of task execution and interestingness.Thirdly, this paper presented a framework for workflow engine for task assignment extensibility based on the research of traditional workflow technology, and gave the workflow model which the engine supported. And then, we present the implement of core modules of workflow engine and the typical task assignment modes which include the improved task assignment model.Finally, this paper proposed the validation of the workflow engine for task assignment extensibility, and presented the simulation experiment to the improved algorithm, which proved its high efficiency feature.
