The Research Of Enhancement System And Implementation Based On DSP

Speech enhancement is an important branch of speech signal processing. With the rapid advancement of electronic and communication technology, the speech enhancement and DSP technology have been deeply developed. At the same time, the system of speech signal processing based on DSP platform is widely accepted and used in various areas, both in daily life and in military.The research on the real time speech enhancement is based on the actual noise circumstance. Through the implementation of the algorithms on the software and hardware system, it could reduce the background noise and upgrade the understandability of the speech as to achieve the effect of speech enhancement.Firstly, some classic speech enhancement algorithms are introduced and compared. And then, the author makes some improvements on these algorithms and introduces a modified spectral suppression algorithm based on MMSE. This algoritnm is easy to be implemented real-time on the hardware system and can satisfy the demands of real-time speech enhancement and validated its effect through simulation.Finally, the principle and principle characteristic of DSP are introduced, especially TMS320VC5510. Software design of the improved algorithm is carried on. And then, hardware design of the algorithm is carried on according to characteristic of improved method and system work requirement, selecting and designing of outside equipment is completed, a speech enhancement system platform is designed and manufactured by the author, and the proposed algorithm runs on the system successfully and realizes speech enhancement.
