The computing model has had a rapid change with the continuous improvement of human beings'daily needs, the new computing model——pervasive computing requires that the computers should have a better perception over human beings'emotions, and can make intelligent behaviors which are suitable for people's affection needs. Therefore, the computers must have stronger abilities to express, recognize and understand human beings' emotions, this is named affective computing, which is a kind of calculation that is associated with emotions and is from feelings and acts on the emotions. Affective computing plays an important part in artificial intelligence to achieve much higher degree of intelligence.The main purpose of this proposal is to establish a reasonable and practicable emotion model, by analyzing some of the existing disadvantages emotion models, this proposal lists the cognitive and non-cognitive factors which can affect human beings'emotion states. The specific contents are as following:At the beginning of the first chapter, it describes the new computing model—ubiquitous computing and summarizes the remarkable achievements of this filed, then analyzes that the affective computing plays an important part in ubiquitous computing, after listing some applications of affective computing, standing out its researching value.Emotion is the unique word in psychophysiology, currently, most of the researchers who study about affective computing only find the solutions from the information field, while ignore its origin. In the second chapter of this article, it analyzes the emotions from the psychophysiology, and knows something about the natural characteristics of emotions. Meanwhile, it summaries some typical emotion models and knows the development situation of affective computing research.Firstly, in the third part of this article, it constructs a spatial model of PAD which describes the abstract emotion states with the spatial vector, using the vector modules to measure the emotional intensity; Secondly it also shows the expression of emotional entropy, using emotional entropy to solve the transfer matrix of each emotion status; Thirdly it also introduces the emotion activation threshold and saturation values to judge whether do the emotions status change or not. At the end, it demonstrates that how important the personalities are in the process of emotional states change.In chapter four, firstly it analyzes the principle of finite automata, it describes each element of emotions which has been mentioned in chapter three in mathematical way. Because there are many kinds of emotional types, it makes the normalization with six basic emotional types. At last, it establishes an emotion Mealy machine with those emotional factors.In the fifth chapter, under the Visual Studio 2008 compiling environment, combined with SQL Server 2005 to establish an intelligent service of virtual experiment under the automobile pervasive environment, this experiment uses the new emotion model which is brought forward in this article and considers the intelligent automobile operation from the security point of view, in this experiment, it contains the user identity, user information registration, login link and so on. This experiment verifies the feasibility and rationality of this new model.In chapter six, it summarizes the work that this article has done, and puts forward what further work still should be done in affective computing research in the future.This article is supported by the High-tech project of Science and Technology Department in Ji Lin Province which named "The research of mobile Agent automobile pervasive computing research including biological information authentication", here I give my appreciation to it.
