Recently, a new experiment technology or experiment method that arises with the development of computer technology and network technology——virtual experiment has getten breakthrough development.In recent years,the research of the design and development of virtual experiment is a hotspot and focus of industrial design field, some advanced design ideas are introduced constantly, such as cognitive friction research, icon of research, etc.These researchs are in order to improve the users'cognitive ability and learning efficiency in the virtual experiment, but something about the interaction process and irrational appeared in the interaction process between the users and virtual experiment system havn't involved, because in virtual experiment can't interactive face-to-face namely its presence-interaction,users are more likely to appear motivation abatement,motivation forgetten and other irrationals in the process of virtual experimental.So attempt this idea into the design of virtual experiment boldly, through the analysis of the characteristics of virtual experiment system, researching the cognitive and operating characteristics of users, thus establishing comprehensive irrational user model, proposing design principle based on irrational user model of virtual experiment,investigating the use effect of virtual experimental system that designs and develops according to this principles,thus offerring a series of reference to the design and development of virtual experiment.The first chapter having identified the research question, stated the research background and significance, research methods and research status of relevant such; In the second chapter the connotation and function of "irrational" has been defined, through a lot of literature reading, comprehensiving the revelation of usability design, the man-machine engineering and design psychology theory, providing theoretical support for behind research.In the third chapter analyzing the characteristics of virtual experiment, having comprehensived irrational user model of virtual experiment including environmental foundation,thinking model,task model and error model. that not only specifically embodies the essence of irrational user model, but aslo receives the Norman's emotional design ideas. Guding by this model,putting forward five principles of the design of fault-tolerance virtual experiment:easy view sexual and timely feedback, consider the user's rational limitations, form natural matching, fault tolerance and rapid prototyping design.In order to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the virtual experiment designed basing on the irrational user model, designing and developing the electromagnetic induction virtual experiment according to the ideological, expounded generation principle and process of the electromagnetic induction phenomenon imagely, deepening learners' preconditions of master degree of electromagnetic induction phenomenon,further exercising the learner hands-on connection circuit ability of practice.Through evaluating learners'various attachment to put forward the corresponding method for learners to correct strategy, providing reference and visibility vouchers for learners'self-adjustment, solving the virtual experimental interactive the presence of defects.Firstly considerring the users'possible errors in the virtual experiment into design scheme,designing the corresponding fault avoiding strategies,adopting taken remind, functional limitations and related countermeasures to aim to user's a nature effectively.The research of virtual experiment based on irrational user model is a good beginning for more, the real intelligence, humanization, usability and fault-tolerance virtual experiment still need to further thorough and careful research and practice.
