Color Management is a very important section in digital image processing, it has a great influence on graphics devices'development and people's daily life. Spectrophotometer is a powerful color management tool which collects graphics devices'domestic color characteristics. A motion control platform of high speed and accuracy which has a direct influence on color management results is a significant part of a Spectrophotometer. So it is of high engineering value to research about Spectrophotometer's motion control platform.In this paper, based on an analysis of the properties of the Spectrophotometer motion platform, a design proposal of the platform motion controller is presented, as well a motion controller hardware circuit is presented based on FPGA, stepping motor drivers and USB 2.0 is designed. After researching about the motion control technology, an X-Y platform Interpolation control logic IP core is designed and implemented using DDA algorithm and S-Velocity Control algorithm. A Spectrophotometer platform motion controller based on USB2.0 is implemented by firmware programming of FX2. At last, a functional test about the controller is implemented by firmware automatically download programming of PC's USB port. The test results show that all technical specifications have been achieved. |
