As a hot spot of engineering application at present, TV image tracking technology which combines with many advanced technologis such as image processing,artificial intelligence and pattern recognition can directly show the accurate information of target in time.TV image tracking technology has a wide application range in security monitoring,intelligent transportation and other fields with developing capability.This paper at first introduces a successfully implemented TV image tracking system design with a architecture of DSP+FPGA.It can assure high performance of system and realize system miniaturization by TMS320C6203B.In consideration of trend in development of TV image tracking system which will be miniaturization and high-resolution, the paper advances two schemes to satisfy these requirements: one scheme is a single DSP TV image tracking system with DM648,which has a good computational capability and makes system smaller; the other is to build a DSP array by four C6455 chips,and these chips utilize SRIO interface to connect with each other solving the high speed transportation problem of data between different chips.It is suitable for high-resolution TV image tracking system.
