Orthogonal phase-coded signal is the key technique for radar anti-interference. The orthogonal coded signal optimal algorithms and the side-lobe suppression algorithm are analyzed in the thesis. At the same time, an innovative projection algorithm is given to make the un-orthogonal signals orthogonal, which is based on orthogonal quantity.Two parts are divided in the thesis. The orthogonal phase-coded signal optimization is analyzed for waveform optimization firstly. This thesis describes the two orthogonal code optimal algorithms, ones is the genetic algorithm, the other is phase encoding based on the polynomial fitting approach. Genetic algorithm, to make the peak of side-lobe, integrated side-lobe of auto-correlation and cross-correlation as low as possible, is used to search orthogonal phase-coded signal. Polynomial fitting approach is carried out with non-linear FM signal, then orthogonal code is obtained by phase quantization. A lot of simulations and performance analysis are given for these two methods . Finally, the code generated based on the projection algorithm is proposed, and also is proved effectiveness, simplicity and feasibility by theoretical and experimental analysis in the thesis,.In the second part, for some actual project, Implemented the pulse compression pretreatment, which based on digital down conversion of the phase modulation signal, is completed, include the program code design, the debugging and the performance analysis of digital down conversion.
