With the rapid development of network communications and computer technology, the requirements of daily work has not been met by the meeting in traditional ways and the emergence of the audio conference overcomes the disadvantage, which is caused by the limit in area and time. Using the audio conference system can rapidly get people in different area together to participate in real-time meetings. In this way, it not only saves expense, but also enhances the efficiency. Convenient and quick real-time conference will take place of the meeting in traditional ways in the future,it will become more and more valuable.This paper explains the ideas, designs and implementation process of the audio conference platform based Asterisk, which is an on open source software. It analyzes the principle and the architecture of VoIP, which base design works of teleconference platform. For laying the foundation of interoperability between the audio conference platform and the Web-side session monitoring system, it also analysis the communication protocol of Asterisk in depth. During the implementation of platform, by analyzing the advantage and disadvantage in the existing Summit platform and combining the actual situation of project, an economy audio conference platform is built, the function of reservation and control in teleconference is realized, and the logging function is also controllable. After these functions are realized, uesed the international popular technology:Distributed Universal Number Discovery, the cascade of the platform is established and it makes a great contribution to the expansion of audio conference. Through integrated test, the platform has achieved the expected goal in functionality, performance and pressure. At the end of this paper, the work in the next step is summarized in detail.
