Along with manufacturing industry development many fabric defect detection systems were researched. Among them the fabric defect automatic detection is the key to sampled fabric defect image segmentation.Therefore looking for a quick and accurate segmentation algorithm is imperative, and the geometrical active contour model processing method is applied in fabric defect image segmentation field.Based on grey fabric defect image segmentation algorithm is studied, according to the defect classification and evaluation standard, this paper proposed using partial differential equations of geometric active contour model processing method in grey fabric defect image segmentation field, in this paper the main results obtained are as follows: Firstly, for partial differential equations of parameter active contour model and geometric active contour model methods. Secondly, Geometric active contour model for long time, boundary have evolved spilled problem, put forward to stop velocity field of anisotropic diffusion method and further multi-scale diffusion method, shorten the time evolution, reducing the boundary leak, improving the weak boundary detection capabilities. Finally, according to the different typical defect image segmentation process experiment proved that this treatment method in grey fabric defect segmentation application effectiveness, making of partial differential equation methods more practical significance.Finally, the paper points out the theory of partial differential equations defect segmentation in further research and directions for improvement。...
