Wireless sensor network is an international concern hot edge multidisciplinary research. The major traditional industrial control wiring using a wired network is not flexible, seriously affected by the environment, cable maintenance cost defects. Therefore, compared with traditional wired networks, wireless sensor networks based on industrial monitoring network has some strong advantages. Reliability requirements of industrial real-time monitoring network are more stringent, primarily about the time delay, packet loss and throughput. To achieve the requirements of electromagnetic interference in harsh factory enviroriments,and the field data collection,remote monitoring of real time and reliability,low-configuration, self-organization of multi-hop WSN has posed a serious challenge.Performance optimization for wireless sensor networks is a hot area of research. Wireless sensor networks cross-layer optimization is an important approach. In the traditional cross-layer design of wireless networks, each independently design and operation of independent design resulted in layers between layers is no exchange of information, it does not make full use of network resources to achieve optimal performance. MAC protocol in wireless sensor networks decided to channel the allocation of resources, communication between the nodes in the allocation of limited communication resources is the key to ensure the efficient communication network.Another important protocol layer—routing layer determines the data transmission path selection.The selection of this agreement is to improve the performance of wireless sensor networks an important part. Based on this, the work proposes "MAC layer + routing layer" of industrial sensor networks cross-layer optimization program, through the MAC layer model for link quality assessment, and thus provide the basis for the routing in order to achieve MAC layer.Firstly, cross-layer optimization of wireless sensor network architecture, give specific method of classification in-depth research. Proposed the industrial monitoring network based on MAC layer and routing layer wireless sensor network optimization method. The design of the wireless sensor network optimization method provides the framework for the following graphs.Secondly, for industrial monitoring network and the characteristics of wireless sensor networks.This graph makes the analysis of different types of routing protocols, introduction of the tree routing protocol convergence and the combined with IEEE802.15.4 Markov chain model based on the routing algorithm design. This algorithm is MM-CTP,it is a implementation, fast convergence and topology stability flexible routing updates.low route maintenance expenses based on MAC layer and the cross-layer optimization.Then, the work focus on industrial control networks based on the actual hardware nodes and the characteristics and needs of industrial control simulation using TinyOS wireless sensor network environment, network operating systems and NesC programming language, through the TOSSIM simulation system to simulate the MM-CTP routing algorithm and compared with the CTP, in order to examine MM-CTP routing algorithm.Finally, the work use the processing chip and the TinyOS CC2430-based operating system with the actual sensor node MM-CTP network routing algorithm to achieve the actual operation of the network, collecting and monitoring.The work and research have the foundation about the cross-layer optimization of wireless sensor networks and the actual industrial monitoring of wireless sensor network deployment and design.
