| With the development of computer technique and the improvement of computer handling ability, we hope the computer can not only do simple calculation. In addition, we are not content with the way of input and output. We want to speak with the computer with our language. And the speech technology can make it true. Speech technology mainly includes the speech recognition technology and speech synthesis technology. The speech recognition technology transforms the speech signal into text data, which the computer can deal with. The speech synthesis technology transforms the text data into speech signal. In recent years, more and more systems which based on speech technology appear e.g. speech dialing, speech input, speech navigation, speech read and so on. These systems contact with the users using speech signal and they are much friendly and convenient. The speech system for giving time speaks the time and the system is practical so that lots of research on it. Based on the system, the paper designs and achieves an intelligent speech system for giving the present time. The system gets the speech command and gives the present time. The system works well when the users can not operate the computer, such as during the driving or a blind man, because the system is independent with the users. The work of the paper has the following places:(1) Do research on the speech recognition technology and speech synthesis technology. According to the features of the system, the paper determines the algorithm the system uses and improves the algorithm.(2) Design and achieve an intelligent speech system for giving the present time. The speech recognition of the system, which is not special and small, with isolated word, is based on HMM. The speech synthesis wants to get smooth speech signal with wave concatenation synthesis algorithm. The system is accomplished with the C++and Matlab. At last, it evaluating the system in accord with the recognition rate, which mainly affects the system. |
