Hybrid system is composed by a continuous variable dynamic systems and discrete event dynamic system, because of the interaction between the continuous variables and discrete variables, the hybrid systems show the complex features. Hybrid systems research focuses on modeling, control analysis, optimal control and so on. Research and development of hybrid systems is growing both with the theoretical science in computer and science in control, it is a new interdisciplinary research subject. Therefore, in order to make hybrid systems theory developed rapid and stable, researchers should combine control science, computer technology and other theoretical disciplines and tools.This article focuses mainly on research stability of hybrid systems with time delay, through using computer tools to analyze, and analyzed the characteristics of the hybrid power system. The main content can summarize several parts:Partâ… :Introduction of the concept of hybrid systems, development and research status. The definition of the hybrid system is based on previous research results, expand the representation of the characteristics of hybrid systems, researches (modeling, stability, engineering, etc.), and follow-up direction of development.Partâ…¡:The basic structure of hybrid systems and several hybrid system models and theoretical analysis tools can be borrowed. This section gives a variety of hybrid systems in the wider application of the process of research and theoretical analysis of the relative maturity hybrid system models. Also describes linear matrix inequalities often used in the analysis of the asymptotic behavior in hybrid systems, and how to use the computer software to solve such problems in the specific tools and programming methods.Partâ…¢:Asymptotic behavior of hybrid system. Analyzed discrete hybrid systems with a time delay. According to the Lyapnove stability theorem, give sufficient stability condition of the system. Through using computer software for solving linear matrix inequalities, and finally get the conclusion by the correctness of simulation examples.Partâ…£:Hybrid system in the power system. After analyzing the characteristics of the hybrid power system, abstracted voltage stability problems into a hybrid system to analysis, thus can make use of existing hybrid system stability theory to analysis the power system stability problems. This paper used the classical stability theory to analysis the abstract model, and gave the equivalent conditions which analysised and proofed by the stability theory of the hybrid systems. And made a simulation example.
