Digital Home Technology is the latest research field where Home Networking plays a vital role. It makes peoples'lives easier and comfortable by making every device at home communicate with each other and accessible from any place at any time. It also helps to control devices with single pervasive interactive platform. Although many new standards and technologies have been developed in recent years, many problems still remain unsolved. The current standard of the wireless meters reading interface is used for reading data and controlling the system remotely. Wireless meters'reading system uses complete instructions-based command execution process for interaction, where the data is transmitted through wireless transmission module in the form of command frame and the response frame. Petri nets is a powerful modeling tool for describing and studying systems, analyzing many properties and problems associated with concurrent systems, and simulating nondeterministic and concurrent behavior of systems using a single deterministic piecewise linear map of the real interval. We use Petri nets to model a workflow process of the instruction based command execution process in digital home wireless meter reading interface and analyzes its Petri nets based model. Consequently the correctness of the workflow is verified. We also suggested modification that can be done in the workflow process, considering the priority to the urgent commands to take actions immediately without any delay. The solution for the modification of workflow process is discussed. In the view of the specification of the digital home wireless meter bottleneck efficiency, an intelligent meter reading system is proposed, which is divided into three different modules with respect to different stages occurred during the whole process in the system. We used the Petri nets to model and analyze different modules of the system to obtain some important properties about the system.
