With the popularizing of mobile phones, especially the increasing of intelligent mobile phones, mobile devices begin to play an important role in web application. Smart phone e-mail system, for its advantage of no limit of times and places, supplies a quite effective information method for enterprises. With the rapid development of computer network communication technology and software technology, how to ensure and strengthen information security and integrity has become the major issue in the international community. Digital signature came into being. Digital signature is one of the most important directions of public key cryptography. The devices with limited computing capability includes smart card, wireless sensor, RFID, electronic key etc.. Now, using of these devices is very popular all over the world. However, they tend to have a feather in common: limited computational capability and equally limited power(at most operate on batteries),very limited response time. Thus, the designing of signature schemes applicable for these devices should mainly focus on the computational efficiency. The multivariate Public key cryptosystems (MPKC) based on MQ (Multivariate Quadratic) have been developed rapidly in recent years, because it itself is very highly safe and very large potential in application of low- cost smart cards and digital signature. In this paper I mainly design a digital signature scheme based on multivariate public key cryptography on intelligent mobile phones. Firstly, I introduce the technology and theory about MPKC schemes. Then I introduce the development technology of mobile phones. Finally, a digital signature scheme based on multivariate public key cryptography on intelligent mobile phones is designed and implemented. The development environment is windows mobile 5.0 pocket pc. The system firstly does a menu extension on mobile email application. Then it uses MPKC to sign and validate email body and files in mobile. By analyzing the security and performance, the results indicate that this system is secure, efficient, and easy to be used.
