Multiphase flow parameters detection technology is urgently needed to develop. However, due to multi-phase flow exists the relative velocity and interface effects and other issues, leading to the detection of multiphase flow parameters is very difficult. In recent many years, studies have found the Process Tomography (PT) technique has great developmental potential and wide industrial application prospect in solving the measurement problem of multiphase flow. Having many distinct advantages such as low cost, wide application field, simple structure, non-invade and better safety, Electrical Capacitance Tomography(ECT) has being the most popular research direction and the main development in flow imaging technique, However, due to electrical capacitance tomography technique is not mature enough to meet the industrial applications standards, it is further needed to research and discuss.This paper is based on the study of capacitance sensing mechanism of 12-electrode electrical capacitance tomography system, and mainly discusses the application of the iterative method in the image reconstruction of electrical capacitance tomography system, this paper proposes a SVD Weighted conjugate gradient truncated image reconstruction algorithm, the main works and contributions of this paper are as follows:Firstly, connecting with the topic background, this paper points out the important meaning of multiphase flow measurement to the science research and industry production, analyzes the features, parameters of multiphase flow, and describes the basic principles and development status of the process tomography system.Secondly, analyze the composition of the electrical capacitance tomography system, research the working mechanism, analyze the technical features, and describe the development status of the electrical capacitance tomography technical.Thirdly, describe the characteristic and basic ideas of the iterative method, then discuss the LBP algorithm,the Landweber algorithm,the Steepest descent method,the Tikhonov regularization algorithm and the Newton algorithm, at the same time ,this paper deeply describes the application of these algorithms.Finally, To solve the"soft-field"nature and the ill-posed problem in electrical capacitance tomography technology, on the basis of the singular value decomposition theory of sensitivity matrix, this paper proposes a SVD Weighted conjugate gradient truncated image reconstruction algorithm, and it analyzes the mathematical model and convergence of this algorithm and verify the effectiveness of the algorithm by the simulation experiments.
