Research For Appraising Highlighted Vulnerability In Security Vulnerability Database

With the development of computer technology, Network Security is becomingmore and more important. There is an increasing situation that security incidentsmake a direct threat to user privacy and property resulting from kinds of vulnerability.It's significant for users to get the instant information to make an effective response.Based on deep analysis and research on appraising highlighted vulnerability in securityvulnerability database both domestically and internationally, this paper realizedHighlighted Vulnerability Scoring Scheme for appraising highlighted vulnerability. Themain points of this paper are as follows:1. Based on deep analysis and research on appraising highlighted vulnerability insecurity vulnerability database both domestic and international, this paper analyzed andsummarized the problem for appraising highlighted vulnerability.2. Around with the building for Security Vulnerability Database, It has analyzedthe design scheme for Security Vulnerability Database, and realized some safeguards forthe website.3. It has summarized the principles for appraising highlighted vulnerability.Following it, this paper made a deep analysis on vulnerability rating scheme, withconsideration to the problem in appraising highlighted vulnerability. It proposed adesign scheme for appraising highlighted vulnerability named Highlighted VulnerabilityScoring Scheme (HVSS).4. It has realized HVSS, and then we can get the highlighted vulnerabilitiesautomatically. Based on the scheme, we have put the highlighted vulnerabilities intopractice, delivered by the government, magazine and institute, and then the users can getthe instant security warning and emergency response. It has achieved good results inpractice.
