In this paper, acoustic emission technique is used to coordinate orientation of the sourceof vibration, acoustic emission sources by the time difference to reach the sensor positioning methods to achieve such a passive vibration of the source position. The traditional acoustic emission technology combined with the passive position, through the large number of experiments to verify the validity of this method.Main study used time-delay estimation methods, because correlation analysis method was smaller, and less demanding hardware configuration, operation is simple, fast, easy real-time processing, time-delay estimation using this approach to design. In the acoustic emission source location algorithm is derived under the two-dimensional plane and three-dimensional acoustic emission source location algorithm formula, discussed the two-dimensional positioning accuracy of the relationship between the location of the sensor geometry, and three-dimensional positioning accuracy of the time difference was analyzed Finally made some vague way to eliminate the time difference location. Then design a Atmega16 based on acoustic emission-based positioning systems include acoustic emission sensor pre-amplifier circuit, one-shot flip-flop circuit and microcontroller circuits.At last, TDOA location algorithm, the article Finally, an actual two-dimensional planar single sound source positioning system, to verify the algorithm for hardware implementation feasibility and technical performance. System uses multiple audio sensors and AVR MCU sound source location within the region. Experimental results show that the system calculation speed, computing less, the error is small, can be completed more precise positioning for a single sound source.The experiments carried out summing up the error analysis.
