The Campus Dormitory Management System is the typical information management system. The system is designed from the viewpoint of the administrators. The analysis and the software development of this system are based on the demands of different administrators such as teachers, head teachers and dormitory administrators. The software development is based on the framework of VisioStudio.net published by Microsoft. The system uses a distributed layout, and takes the SQL server as database. It has three client applications, which are desktop applications, web applications, and mobile applications. The system includes four functions. The first is provided for students, who are allowed to check the personal information, dorm information, utilities and the maintenance information of dorm. The second is provided for teachers, who are allowed to check the information of students and information of dorms which they are in charge of, and score the dorms. The third is provided for student office and department head, allowing them to check the information of students, dorms and teachers. The fourth is provided for the dorm administrators, who are able to check dorm information and carry out correlation processing. Moreover, the system allows the students to check information by mobile anywhere at any moment. Step by step, campus dormitory management will be more efficient, more standardized and more scientific.
