Research On Disruption Management Model For Berth Scheduling With Time Delay

In the trend of world economic integration and globalization, with the instant development of the socialist market economy, the throughput capacity of Chinese guay has advanced rapidly. Berth scheduling is the basic business operation process which is directly related to the effectiveness and efficiency of the quay. How to provide timely and effective service is the important issue that the company managers must solve in the management. Quay is in an open environment, and there are uncertainty factors in the objective world which often disturb and impact the quay berth system to some extent. When the interference occurs, it requires timely treatment to minimize the impact to the system. This paper studies on the berth scheduling issue caused by typical and frequent.happened delay problem in the dock, and brings in the disruption management to research and evaluate.The paper includes following aspects:firstly, identify and measure the disturbance issue in the disruption management caused by the quay berth delay problem, and build disruption management model of berth scheduling. Secondly, design the genetic algorithm to solve the issue, and brings in the human-computer interaction idea which accelerates computing speed of genetic algorithm. Finally, design examples, use the proposed disruption management model and its related genetic algorithms, as well as traditional re-dispatch strategy to calculate separately, from the results, it comes to the conclusion that the disruption management method is significantly superior to the traditional re-dispatch strategy both in customer satisfaction and computation time, so the validity of disruption management model proposed by the paper has been verified.In the field of quay berths system, it is lack of the consideration of the disruption management issue, and the innovation in this paper is on the quay disruption management issue, to add the variable of customer satisfaction, and to make the quay managers to synthetically study the disruption management in the customer satisfaction and company cost aspects. The study on the disruption management of quay berths system has important theoretical and practical significance.
