The Research On The Algorithm Of Active Queue Management For Internet Congestion Control

In recent years, along with the expansion of size and capacity computer network, the congestion of network is becoming more and more serious, meanwhile, all sorts of new business in network require higher quality of service. More and more domestic and foreign scholars pay attention to the problem of congestion and control in network. Network congestion control plays a very important role in avoiding network congestion, guaranting the stability of the network and improving the network service quality. This paper studied the algorithm in active queue management for congestion control of network, the main work and content as follows.(1)On the basis of the analysis of network congestion and control mechanism method, this paper studied and discussed active queue management and network congestion control.This paper analysis and extends thr OPNET simulation software in network for the application of the software for network modeling and simulation of network congestion control.(2) The paper researched and analysised the model of network congestion control, and built the corresponding network model. On the analysis of the classic RED algorithm of AQM, the paper studied and discussed the active queue management based on PID controller. Also the paper improved the PID controller in active queue management network congestion.this method can effectively achieve active queue management and avoid network congestion. Simulation results show the effectiveness of this method and reliability.(3)For the network congestion problems in large delay networks, the paper researched the methods of large delay network active queue management. The fourth chaper estimated loads and delay on AQM routers, and presented AQM controller of large delay network which is based on IMC-PID.The simulation results show that this method can effectively achieve congestion control of network in large delay network.
