Researching On The Correction Method Of The Contrast Measuring Using CCD Cameras

With the development of Science and technology, ever y country around the world has studied new methods of contrast measuring, the importance of contrast of target to background is also growing. This paper provides a study which is based on CCD calibration method in measuring contrast; analyses the principle and the characteristic of the CCD. Using CCD camera to measure the contrast of target to background, the experiment has proved that the measuring errors exist. Using the photometer response curve as our standard to fit the CCD response curve of illumination, the measuring results are apparently improved.
