Because the laser has outstanding characteristic, such as the high luminance, the high directivity, the high monochromaticity, the high coherence and so on, the Laser Technology obtains widespread application in the modern manufacturing industry, like cutting, welding, punch, marking, lineation, rapid prototyping, micro processing and so on. It has solved the problem that in the industrialization production processing the mechanical workout is unable or very difficult to solve.Using optical fiber laser processing high performance and industry robot nimble serviceability, we can compose highly effective, multi-purpose and flexible laser processing platform, which is hot spot in robot application domain. However, the traditional online teach programming method of industrial robot has some shortcomings as the low efficiency, the precision insufficient, the complex path very difficult to realize and so on. It has become more and more difficulty to satisfy the request of the laser processing. The off-line programming technology can solve many online demonstration's shortcomings very well, so it has received more and more value of the researchers and manufacturer. This article in view of the optical fiber laser processing's characteristic, has researched the practical application of the robot off-line programming technology.At first, the article researches several key technologies of the robot off-line programming and proposes the theoretical principle of the robot off-line programming modeling, the way production and the robot calibration technology. Then, the article introduces the system integration method of the optical fiber laser processing platform and control system's composition. Besides, the article takes the optical fiber laser processing platform and RobotStudio off-line programming software to introduce the robot off-line programming method and step. It includes to establish robot simulation workstation, off-line programming and analog simulation.Finally, the article introduces how to download robot off-line programming procedure and the robot calibration method in the realistic scene. And take a work piece as the example, we have carried on the laser cutting processing to the work piece, which has proven the performance and the function of the entire laser processing platform and the robot off-line programming, and arrived at the anticipated design requirements.
