China’s criminal law should comply with the development ofthe information age。This article through four parts, the first through the introduction of the origin andnature of the personality right of privacy, introduces the overview of network privacy, inthe era of information network, namely citizens about their personal information, personalbusiness, private network property any possess, utilize, profit from and dispose ofbehavior should be well protected by the law, not by others illegal acquisition, knowledge,copy, use, and dispose of a spiritual personality. After the network privacy compared withthe traditional right to privacy, it is concluded that the unique nature of network privacy,and the characteristics of the infringement, the infringement is not controllable, main bodyis difficult to find sexual, infringe on the ductility of the content, violates the economicinterests of the profit. Through introduction of extraterritorial criminal law protection ofnetwork privacy, it is concluded that countries in the field of criminal law protection ofnetwork privacy related experience.
