Standing on the homeland of Guanzhong, Chen displays the Secular sentiments of the whole local society of Guanzhong in this work, shows us a landscape painting of Guanzhong which has regional characteristics, we can appreciate the traditional material culture and spiritual civilization, which has accumulated for thousands of years in the land of China.Meanwhile It can let us realize people’s spiritual fission and inner struggle between new and old culture, and reveals the inexorable law that the traditional Confucian culture in the Guanzhong local society will go to die, It also gives us the inspiration that we shouldn’t abandon the whole traditions,meanwhile we should swim with the current, inherit the spirit and lead it to spread further, make it the Spiritual resources which can save us from the Human culture crisis the western cultures cause.This thesis is divided into three parts. Chapter One presents the connotation and characteristic of the Guanzhong local culture, and dissect the local cultural psychology of Chen Zhongshi,comprehend his hometown recognition and Literary complex to Guanzhong. Chapter Two is an organizing and summarizing of the Guanzhong local culture which apprears in the Bai lu yuan, and which will be presented by the culture of agricultural production and life, native ceremony, local belief and clan system. It will descript the traditional regional customs of Guanzhong and its changes in the time torrent specifically. Chapter Three discusses people’s adhere to the spirit and psychological trend of Guanzhong in the contemporary historical process combine with the typical characters in Bai lu yuan. It will be presented with the character series of traditional old culture, the characters of pursuit loss and under the new revolutionary culture, and the characters of betraying and converting in the Fusion of old and new cultures. |
