This paper carried out using existing technology to produce 3D modeling ceramic case studies to explore the many possibilities of 3D modeling techniques used in ceramic creation of art and design, in order to derive some insights for the future creation of a more comprehensive practice reference and theoretical support.This article addresses on the following four aspects: First, Application Overview 3D Design Art; Second, through case studies, to tease out the 3D technology used in ceramic art, ceramics design; Third, to clarify 3D technology ceramic industrial production and summary; Fourth, the author describes the creative process and creative ideas from one material to another material experiments, the transition from handmade to 3D modeling.We will usually 3D modeling, 3D printing and 3D somatosensory technologies are included virtual design. Virtual design of this ceramic design application mainly through the "three-dimensional computer images" showing that there is a lot of traditional ceramic molding process different, groundbreaking. Ceramic design traditional art, along with the development itself is also constantly improving, ceramic design process evolved from manual to mechanical eventually integrate into today’s digital age design to form unique virtualization ceramic design. Forming a sharp contrast between the development of technology, innovation and traditional craftsmanship, not only for the development of technology extends hand, it is change.
