A Study On The Writing Techniques Of Wolfgang Rim 's

Through the summarization of the organization of the pitch, the writing style of melody line, harmony constitute, structural characteristics, texture shape, and various other aspects of the musical piece, this paper attempts to comprehensively analyze the techniacal characteristics of Wolfgang Rihm’s orchestral work "In-Schrift 2".Dissecting the multilayer structure and special treatment of the Eternal Chord in the melody, the author draws some new conclusions regarding the characteristics of Wolfgang Rihm’s style.Based upon the theory of Music Acoustics,the application of the composer’s space concept and the resulting sound phenomenon characteristic to the composer were interpreted by the author.In addition, further conclusions were raised by the author by the discussion of the unique sound, musical structure, and processing techniques in this work.
