The Infinite Possibility Of Painting In Cecilia Brown 's Painting Research

Cecily Brown’s works not only inherited the tradition, but also combined her own painting language and thought, which has opened up a unique new angle of view. Those seemingly disordered composition, color and stroke in her pictures well combined together with mystery and infinite possibilities.There are three chapters in this paper. The first part is mainly about the living environment of the formation of Cecily Brown’s art style, masters’ influence on her ideas and the development of her own artistic style. The second part mainly analyzes Cecily Brown’s pictures, including the composition, color and brushwork of pictures. It also analyzes the disorder and unity from pictures. These elements are filled with "energy", making the pictures full of infinite possibilities in combinations. The third part mainly conducts analysis from Cecily Brown’s creation method and thoughts.All in all, our study can be better helped and inspired through the analysis and understanding of Cecily Brown’s thought and paintings.
