A Study On The Relationship Between General Self - Efficacy And Overall Well - Being In Senior High School Teachers

This paper investigates 232 high school teachers in Beipiao and the surrounding areas by using general Self-Efficacy Scale and General Well-Being. Based on literature review, this paper puts forward that the general self-efficacy and general well-being of high school teachers are closely related. In this way,we can forecast general well-being of high school teachers according to general self-efficacy. This paper processes data of the 232 high school teachers and the result supports the research hypothesis. The research conclusions of this paper are as followed:1.The general self-efficacy of high school teachers in Beipiao and the surrounding areas is in the medium range. The subjects of teaching and ages of teaching are the correlative factors of general self-efficacy. The general well-being of high school teachers is also in the medium range and the age is the correlative factor of general well-being.2.The general self-efficacy of high school teachers in Beipiao and the surrounding areas is positively related to general well-being and the more general self-efficacy,the more general well-being.3.The general self-efficacy of high school teachers in Beipiao and the surrounding areas can effectually forecast the general well-being and the predictive power is 0.389. Combining the result of study and the practical situation, this paper offers the following suggestions:nominating a post of different teachers reasonable,paying attention to teacher of different post,Giving more to main teachers on performance management in proper way,Paying more attention to cultivating teachers who are not main teachers,Guiding the future development of teachers in different ages.
