In the end of 19 th century and the beginning of the 20 th century, The American industrial revolution has promoted the process of urbanization obviously and The United states were in the rapid urbanization process. As a result of the wave of emigration from overseas and domestic farmers, a variety of social problems began to appear and disturb the social order. The immigrants are incompatible with American locals.In the first section, as immigrants from rural America and abroad flooded in The USA,mainly may sum up as two big factors. The first factor is the “push power”, by the influence of their own countries polity, religion, economics of factors has led to a large number of immigrant move to The United states. Agriculture revolution promoted large number of agricultural population and moved into American urban areas. The second factor is the “pull power”, the industrialization of the United States attracts a steady flow of immigrants from the countryside who find opportunities for work and traffic evolution is a key factor that more and more immigrants moved into urban area.In the second section, these immigrants have no source of income and no employable skills that had led to these three social problems. The first one is that there are significant confrontation between immigrants and the native born, foreign immigrants who don’t integrate well. The second one is the problem of poverty and the polarity between rich and poor. The third one is poor housing conditions led to these social problems.In the third section, these urban integration of immigrates received the assistance from government and non-governmental organization. The first measure called American settlement house movement and the measure has improved living environment of immigrates. Religious organization increase the number of immigration charity by the social gospel movement and non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the living environment of Black.Measures provided by the Government included improving housing conditions and the cultural quality of immigrants, and improving skills training.The fourth section is the analysis of “immigrant integration” effect; we should learn to see the issues in their totality. The first part is about analysis of achievements that include alleviating social problems and improving housing conditions and the problems of poverty relief gradually. There are two problems includes American racial conflict and the problem of life condition.
