Guizhou Miao Frontier which was with high mountains and a far distance is away from the mainland. So the mainland officials were not willing to serve as an official. In order to develop this problem, strengthen the rule of the region and desire to see tensions between flow officers and Miao people, Emperor Yongzheng carried out a series of official selection systems which is different from the Han in this region.The article based on the Qing Shi Lu to analyze and compare the historical data. This article includes six parts.The first part mainly introduces the academic meaning of this article, research status, research methods and the basic concepts which is mentioned in the article.The second part mainly analyses the reasons of Yongzheng opened up Miao Frontier from the following four aspects:the location, natural environment, national environment and the subjective factors. Besides, it introduces the scope and military affairs and administrative management of Miao Frontier.The third part firstly introduces the general designating methods of local officials in Yongzheng Dynasty and the special designating system. On this basis, to analyze the reasons of setting up MiaojiangQue in Guizhou, the range and the internal differences of MiaojiangQue in GuizhouThe fourth part mainly analyzes the characteristics of Miao Frontier selection system in Guizhou by using historical data. First, officials mainly came from nearer by; Second, avoidance system was looser; Third, the officials were tightly managed; Forth, officials were usual employed flexibly; Fifth, officials who were from the most difficult areas were promoted faster; Sixth, rewards were fruitful and the family was usually rewarded.The fifth part discusses the fa-reaching influences of Miao Frontier official selection system which was set up in Yongzheng Dynasty. To some degree, the system mitigated the contradiction between officials and the aborigines. It deepen the communication between Miao and Han objectively. Miao people’s Chinesization was also accelerated. It established the foundation for the development of MiaojiangQue in Qianlong Dynasty and improved the political system in Qing Dynasty. The system promoted the economy, culture, the development of the society objectively in Guizhou Miao Frontier and strengthened the management of the Qing dynasty in nature.The last part is a simple summary of the article.
