An Analysis Of The Story Of "Mo Rugen" Of Oroqen, Ewenki And Daur

In this thesis, I regard the Legend of "Moriken" as the research object to spread of the three minorities named the oroqen, ewenki, daur. I will use the textual studies and field research, the combination of the overall study and selective analysis the research method of combining. Through horizontal comparison analyze of the characteristics of the Legend of "Moriken" in different nationalities. For the sake of revealing the image of "Moriken" in the three minorities, I will adopt the motif, theme and the imagology of comparative literature and so on. And then I will analyze the Similarities and differences in the Legend of "Moriken". To make further exploring the causes of their similarities and differences and the current significance of the Legend of "Moriken" through studying the natural environment, cultural environment, mode of production, religious beliefs and so on.This thesis begins with the introduction, and it is divided into five chapters:The introduction introduces the main content of the research object, research methods, main content with detail, on the basis of introducing the reason and the significance of the research topic. In turn to tease and discuss the existing research production and status, and give an intensive explanation of the word "Moriken’In the first chapter, classify the Legend of Moriken in the three minorities. Firstly, Concluding the Legend of Moriken in the three minorities from the perspective of motif, theme, plot, etc. according to the standard of world folk tales about Thompson. I will aim at exploring the similarity and difference of it.In the second chapter, the main emphasis of research is the image about "Moriken" in stories. I will give a comprehensive and systematic analysis about the Moriken’s image by utilizing the theory of narratology and imagology. In addition, I will focuse on the similarity and difference of the image of "Moriken"In the third chapter, the main emphasis of research is the others image in the Legend of Moriken. I will give a comprehensive and systematic analysis about the others image based on the theory of narratology and binary oppositions of Levi Strauss. For example, the monsters, the human, the subsidiary, which include the images of the horse, the God of mountain, the instruments, rescued animals and so on.In the fourth chapter, I will give a comprehensive and systematic analysis the reasons for formation of the Legend of Moriken and the cause of similarities and differences by natural factors and social factors. According to the social history research about the three minorities and the theory about the historical roots of the magical story by Propp, I will analyze several aspects of the reasons, such as the natural environment, history, religious, the mode of production, psychological factors, etc.In the fifth chapter, I will use the function theory by Malinowski, to analyzing the functions of the Legend of Moriken. I will explore it mainly from the ethnic identity, entertainment, and many other aspects education, aesthetic. And look for the significance of the existence of the Legend of Moriken.The conclusion carries on the summary and the theoretical generalization of the above a few content.
