The advent of Web 3.0 brings major upheavals to the society in various aspects. People actively absorbing the massive inflow of information vectored by the Internet, brings about enlightenment in the cognitive understanding of the modern social network, along with different points of views. Modern society nowadays provides us the equality to converse, the platform for trading thoughts and colliding opinions with efficient data transfer and cloud-based sharing technology. This titanic information network has already been gradually embedded as a part of abstract social-infrastructures, called the Web culture, under which derived myriads of new cultural templates. All of these new- born cultural templates are discovered to manifest as"surface"under certain social culture constructs. In the fields of structural and fashion design, the concept of "surface" has been frequently referred and discussed; nevertheless few had considered it from the perspectives of social cultural constructs. This paper focuses on sorting out and articulating new connections between "surface" and "constructs"and the intertwining traits that inscribe the concept of "surface"under various forms of social cultures. Through analysing exemplar case models by implementing the abstract of "surface", an extended version of "surface" under the context of social culture is formulated. Intriguing traits such as synthesizability, penetrability, reproducibility, and others are illustrated and well defined. This train of thoughts is especially beneficial for research in visual art design, offering brand new directions for pondering, as well as drawing out a full spectrum of possibilities.
